Types of programs

   
  Faculty-led Exchange Affiliated
General description These programs are offered during the winter/spring break and summer sessions and are led by a MSU faculty member teaching a group of MSU students in a location abroad. Students travel and live as a group for the majority of the program. These programs allow Montclair State students to directly enroll at a partner institution abroad. These programs are facilitated by third-party providers and institutions and allow students to take courses abroad.

Academics Montclair State faculty and local faculty teach the courses and facilitate on-site activities. Students enroll through MSU and take classes either with only other MSU students or along side other American and international students. Student enrolls in host institution and takes classes alongside local students. Highest opportunity for full immersion in host country. Student attends host institution or provider and generally takes classes alongside American and international students. Depending on the program and/or language level, students may have the option of taking courses with local students. .

Financial aid For summer programs - typically loans or remaining aid from fall or spring All financial aid (State, Federal, Montclair State scholarships) is applicable. Federal aid and private loans are applicable.
