Program Overview

Founded in 1947, Dankook University is a private university with two campuses in Korea. Montclair State University students may participate in DKU's International Summer School as part of an exchange program between MSU and DKU. Students have the option to choose either the Business Program or the Korean Language and Culture Program. In addition, students participating in either summer program may opt to participate in a three week internship program before the Summer School begins.

Jukjeong-dong is a sub-municipality, part of the larger city of Yongin, South Korea. Yongin is a satellite city of Seoul, in South Korea, and is located just south of the capital of Seoul itself. Yongin is home to the Korean Folk Village, a traditional-style Korean cultural center, and is also home to South Korea's largest amusement park, Everland.

A schedule will be provided for students to co-lead small discussion groups and for one-on-one free-talking conversations with Korean students.
