Program Overview

Bordeaux University is one of the oldest universities in Europe and relies on a long history of excellence in research and training.  Founded in 1441 by Pope Eugene IV, Bordeaux University has later split into several faculties and universities until the 1970's. 30 years later, the decision was made to embark on the process of recreating one single multidisciplinary university.  Recently awarded the "Campus of Excellence"  label by the French government, Bordeaux University embodies the French dynamic University of tomorrow, offering innovative educational programs and high level research on an international level.

University Bordeaux 3 Michel de Montaigne - Humanities is one of the 7 founding members of Bordeaux University.
