Program Overview
The University of Seoul (UOS) is an exchange program. Sending Red Hawks out on exchange is contingent upon recruiting inbound exchange students, and trading your place with theirs in an even balance. Spots are therefore very limited. This is an internal Montclair application. Even a successful application through this portal does not guarantee that we have a spot for you at your preferred exchange partner and during your preferred semester. You will only be confirmed for an exchange when you are nominated to that university by our IAI office.

The University of Seoul (UOS) is a public university supported by the Seoul Metropolitan Government. Seoul is the economic, political, and cultural center of Korea. For more than 600 years, Seoul has been the capital of Korea and is a historical city with social, cultural and physical layers spread along a vast and complex landscape. University of Seoul's faculty, student, and administrative body are distinguished by a commitment to civic values and a dynamic urban civilization. In addition to basic research, the University of Seoul functions as a think-tank in formulating and supporting major policy goals of the Seoul Metropolitan Government. With diverse and specific programs to integrate research and policy, practice and the education, University of Seoul seeks a balance between academic and professional concerns, and between visionary goals and practical researches.
