|Academic Fields of Study
The Faculty of Media & Communication encompasses diverse disciplines across its five departments and schools. Within each are teams of experts in their respective fields, who have vast industry experience, valuable knowledge and active research interests that they pass on to their students and share with one another. Collaboration across disciplines is an integral part of what they do, and their staff regularly work together to produce thought-leadership pieces and commentary on current events that impact the media, politics and much more in between.

Each BU course will earn 5 MSU credits. You will complete the semester with the equivalent of 15 MSU credits and satisfy major and free electives. Please discuss this with your academic advisor to determine which courses will satisfy major electives. Apply by March 1st of your sophomore year.
Program runs from September through mid-January (arrangements will be made for you to return back to MSU before spring courses begin but you may need to submit final materials and/or SKYPE after your return. Actual end of BU fall programs are late January.
Orientation activities are organized to welcome incoming students and help them settle into this new environment. Details are circulated to all incoming students once accepted.
|Accommodation and Meals
Campus housing is available upon request. You may stay in Lyme Regis House. This accommodation is situated in the centre of Bournemouth.

|Estimated Program Costs
**First preference is given to students in the concentration. Other students in SCM may apply and will be considered if spaces are available. Students not currently in SCM may apply and will only be considered if they have the appropriate background and spaces are available.**
