BOURNEMOUTH UNIVERSITY is offering courses for students in the Feliciano School of Business!

Academic Program:

The Media School at Bournemouth University is one of the largest of its kind in the world and has a global reputation for combining research and teaching practice.
The School recruits excellent students to internationally renowned courses in Media Production, Journalism & Communication, Computer Animation and Corporate & Marketing Communications.

Courses combine practical learning techniques with impact-led research fronted by world-leading academics. Undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in The Media School has been assessed as 'excellent' by the Quality Assurance Agency.

Graduates are highly employable. A report published by NESTA (National Endowment for Science, Technology and Art) in February 2011 showed that nearly 50% of graduates working in the film, visual effects or video games industries come from Bournemouth University.

The Media School is home to the National Centre for Computer Animation (NCCA) and is the UK's only Centre for Excellence in Media Practice (CEMP).

Each BU course will earn 5 MSU credits.  You will complete the semester with the equivalent of 15 MSU credits and satisfy THREE major requirements.  The additional six credits will transfer back to MSU as major or free elective credit (please discuss this with your academic advisor to determine if the additional credits will satisfy major electives). 
  • Apply by October 1st.
  • Earn 15 Credits-  At least nine toward your major.  All courses pre-approved by Feliciano School of Business.
  • Program runs from January 25th through June 24th (Including orientation week)
  • Orientation activities are organised to welcome our incoming students and help them settle into this new environment. Details are circulated to all incoming students once accepted.

Accommodations and Meals
Campus housing is available upon request. You may stay in Lyme Regis House. This accommodation is situated in the centre of Bournemouth.

**First preference is given to students in the stated majors.  Other students in Feliciano School of Business may apply and will be considered if spaces are available.  Students not currently in Feliciano School of Business may apply and will only be considered if they have the appropriate background and spaces are available.**
